Using Your Ebay Listing Template
You should have already uploaded your image(s) to your hosting account. See our tutorial on image uploading for instructions on how to do this, then proceed ...
You will receive a ".txt." file with your ebay listing template code. Save it to your computer where you can find it easily. In the ebay description window (where you list your items), you will have two views ... "standard" and "html". Choose "html", then copy the entire .txt file code and paste it into the html window.
Then choose "standard". You will be able to view your listing template as it will be seen on your listing. At this point, you can replace the sample text with your own.
To replace an image, click on the image you want to replace. Then choose "html" once again. You should be near the code you need to change to replace your image (look for our helpful notes in the code). Highlight the current image path "http://www.yourdomain.com/images/yourimage.jpg" (only the text inside the " "), and change filename (yourimage.jpg) to the new name.
Once you have replaced the text and changed your image filenames, your item description will be complete.
